OPERATION: Forget-Me-Not

...and we're taking names! HHB Media Director, Kendra Ferguson (a Marine herself!), has a son stationed in Iraq.  Spec. Kevin Ferguson receives "care" packages from his family on a regular basis. His packages include items troops need and want such snacks that don't melt in the desert heat, new or used CDs and DVDs, baby wipes and Q-Tips (for cleaning guns), puzzle books, greeting cards, toothpaste, shampoo, socks, and many others.  Kendra has a comprehensive list, just send her an email.

Kevin contends that some of his buddies, however, never receive packages. And that's just not right. That's why HHB has organized Operation Forget-Me-Not. And we need your help!

Clients, friends and interested others can contribute items in any quantity OR donate funds that we'll earmark for the purchase of these products and for postage to mail the packages. We'll pack and send packages (Kendra has plenty of practice), making sure they are received by those soldiers who are never remembered at Mail Call.

Kevin's Commander has furnished us with the actual names of several soldiers in his company who never receive mail from home. If you donate to HHB's Operation Forget-Me-Not, we'll designate items to specific soldiers, and we'll be sure to include your name as the generous "Friend From Home."

Call us at HHB or e-mail Kendra or Paige, and take part in Operation Forget-Me-Not, ya here!!
